Radio Musicologo no sound? Check source, mute & output

When Radio Musicologo has no sound, start with the earliest step that is failing. A visible stereo does not prove a track is loaded, and a moving display does not prove the browser is sending audio to the speaker you expect.

What we checked

This is a diagnostic guide, not a verified fix for the app. Its control names come from the inspected public interface. We did not complete playback or reproduce an audio fault.

1. Confirm the page and access state

Open the exact radio-musicologos.vercel.app address. If the interface is still loading, wait for it to settle before repeatedly clicking controls. If you see a sign-in panel, read the offered access options; changing speaker settings cannot dismiss that panel.

Check the complete hostname against the directory entry before troubleshooting. Follow the player link rather than guessing a spelling variant.

2. Check whether a source or track is selected

The public screen includes “Elegir carpeta” (choose folder) and playback controls. Look for a selected source and a track name before expecting sound. We have not confirmed which source types or audio formats it accepts.

If a source cannot be selected, record the exact message. Do not assume a format is supported simply because it plays in another application. Change one test item at a time so you know what made a difference.

3. Separate playback from player volume

  1. Click Play / Pausa once and observe whether the control or track display changes. An explicit click is a useful first check in browser audio workflows.
  2. Check the player’s Mute control and raise its volume gradually from a low level.
  3. Leave EQ near neutral while diagnosing. Avoid adjusting every band, fader, and bass control at once.
  4. If the display never advances, focus on source loading or an app error. If it advances silently, continue to device output.

4. Check the device output with a known-good sound

Play a sound from another trusted application at a modest level. If that is also silent, inspect the operating system’s volume and selected output device. Bluetooth headphones, a monitor, or a disconnected speaker may be selected instead of the speaker you are using.

If other applications work, check whether this browser tab or site is muted. Browser menu wording varies. If you test another browser, use the same source and account state to keep the comparison meaningful.

5. Isolate browser state without losing useful evidence

  1. Note the current URL, browser version, device, source, and any error text before refreshing.
  2. Try a fresh session or another browser only after saving work you care about. An account-dependent feature may behave differently while signed out.
  3. Temporarily test extensions one at a time if you suspect they are interfering. Restore your normal settings afterward.
  4. Avoid clearing all browser data as the first move; it can erase saved settings and force a new login without explaining the cause.

6. Send a useful report to the app’s support channel

A good report describes the smallest reproducible sequence: open page, select source, press play, expected sound, actual behavior. Add whether another app produces sound, whether the track display moves, and the exact error message. Keep credentials and private audio out of a public report.

NavSprout cannot reset an account or repair the external player. Use a support channel linked from the app itself. Do not install a stereo firmware file or a driver merely because the page resembles car-audio hardware.

A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT

Common questions

Will turning every EQ slider up fix silence?

It does not establish that a source is loaded or that the correct output is selected. Start with source, play state, mute, and device output.

Should I create another account to troubleshoot?

First check the current access instructions and any error message. A second account is not a substitute for understanding whether the problem is access, loading, or sound.
